Wow factor
What a metamorphosis!
Such a surprising stand and collection at Himolla. The female touch changes the mood, the style and the collection. The latest modelling is more elegant, the leather more refined, the fabrics more fashionable, and the custom options more finely tuned.
In Brussels, Himolla made multiple fashion statements. Lilac for fabric and leather (a shade developed in-house.) Pink for the Q2 fabric on the Wingback armchair. A fluffy, curly teddy-bear fabric or ‘sheepskin’(bouclé) on the Pöff collection. Talk about a wow factor! This is not something you’d usually expect of Himolla. Pöff consists of three solitary seating elements: a semi-circular club armchair, a round pouffe, and an oval divan. Their shared characteristic is their cosiness – for that moment of self-indulgence for yourself, and that quality time with family and friends.
The S-loungers follow the style of puffer jackets, coats & bodywarmers. The back and seat are comfily quilted and tufted in horizontal stripes. A trendy look like this is an immediate eye-catcher, but they have more up their sleeves. The ergonomic added value lies in the expansion of the S-M-L sizes. In addition to the seat height and seat depth, there are now three sizes for the backrest height. This fits with the evolution of the average body length. The younger generations are getting taller, and the older generations see their height shrinking after the age of sixty. The height differences between them are increasing. The S-lounger series also includes the new combination of rise assist with heart-in-balance (Herzwaage).
Above all, Himolla means a wide range of seating with additional functionality and bespoke options. You can see the models evolve: everything is becoming lighter, airier, slimmer and more detailed. In-house fabrics, designs and colours are regularly developed. The female touch of Tamara Härty — head of design & product — is visible and tangible everywhere.
