Francophone Boutique

‘Brussels is a stepping stone to French-speaking Europe and the world of exclusive boutiques.’

The motto: your wish is our command. This first appearance is accompanied by a ‘futuristic’ scoop: AI as an advisor and tipster for the design team. Gathering the input was the most work. The cute teddy bears represent a sustainable alternative.

NicolaQuinto is a fairly young company in the high-end boutique segment. The jewel of the range is the ModaMilano® collection: hand- and tailor-made sofas, super-luxurious materials, pure craftsmanship with refined details. You can see this in the striking to bold designs and colors, the sophisticated material mix and upholstery. The showpiece is the ‘haute couture’ model Rhapsody, inspired by a Chanel suit. You will recognize the fabric, the contrast piping and the split with fold over. As if a piece of the lining is visible on the outside. Fashion meets furniture.

Even the brand marking refers to haute luxury. Brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci have their ‘bag charm’; NicolaQuinto has a ‘sofa charm’, a metal logo that hangs on the sofa. The NQ emblem is also customizable: you can choose from gun metal, steel, yellow and rose gold.

NicolaQuinto exports to Asia (China, Japan and Korea) and within Europe mainly to France. AI has been asked to help especially for French-speaking Europe. The design team first conducted online desk research: all conceivable market data was collected. What are the trends, the brands, what do the socials and other media say, and so on and so on? This wealth of information became the input for AI: from it came some tips and ideas for the design team. Afterwards, the design studio simply returned to the creative process. The result is Cassandra: designed and Italian made.

NicolaQuinto has also found a destination for the industrial residual waste: teddy bears in the fabric/leather of the sofa. They carry the mandatory CE marking, so they meet European safety, health and environmental requirements. Those cuddly toys turned out to be a hit! So cute, so decorative ─ and so responsible. Sustainability meets Emotion.
