It’s great to be launching this first blog in the run up to the 2025 Furniture Fair.
Behind the scenes, a huge amount of work has already been completed, for which I am profoundly grateful to my team. So the first word of thanks in this edition goes out to them.
Our aim is to keep on growing, by providing a broader support base for the whole furniture sector, and by focusing on a complementary offering.
Our halls are filling up nicely, with more than 90% of the occupied surface area from 2024 already sold. The offering has improved significantly, with enhanced quality in every hall, and the ongoing positive evolution of our bedding hall.
This year, investment is also being targeted at the further development of extra segments. The introduction of the Outdoor Living platform in 2024 (at the time named Belgian Outdoor) will therefore see an exciting sequel. To find out more, read the article on ‘OUTDOOR LIVING’.
And the Belgian Design Island gets another light make-over with the decision to relocate it to Hall 5. The design will be integrated into the concept for the entrance hall, and will offer optimal conditions for discovering emerging designers and design.
And there’s still a great deal in the pipeline that it’s too early to tell you about yet.
The fair is slowly coming into view on the horizon; and with that in mind, we can go into the summer holidays feeling positive and energetic. We’re already very much in the mood, and look forward to seeing everyone together again!
