GUIDANCE

A range of some 450 cushions, plus throws and pouffes.

A wide array of designs, textures, colours and formats. Too much choice? No, because Claudi offers guidance: style clusters to help you choose, and to inspire you. The AW 25/26 collection is clearly presented in mood themes: Chique, Pure and Eclectic.

Claudi was already working with ready-made cushion sets. See them = order them as they are. But that’s not the whole picture. How do you guide people through the sheer versatility of the range? That’s where the style clusters come in. Claudi shares mood shots of interior styles. What’s the best trigger for shopping & buying? First the colour, and only then the rest, the shapes, the materials. (This is well known.) Claudi harnesses this typical behaviour with the style clusters.

‘Chique’ seduces with luxurious, classic colours such as (dark) gold, bronze, copper — in combination with black, anthracite, off white, tobacco, camel, burgundy. Fabrics can shine and glimmer: velours, satin.

‘Pure’ is zen, exuding restfulness with a palette of natural shades. Sand (chocolate) brown, marsala, taupe, olive, pebble, ice blue — often ton-sur-ton, with a monochrome tapering. Fabrics such as linen and cotton play a central role.

‘Eclectic’ surprises with statement colours: from lilac to purple, greyish burned orange, dusky pink and celadon, indigo and denim, rust and mustard, and a touch of gold. Shocking multi-colours and busy patterns are very much encouraged here.

This classification isn’t strictly defined. A cushion or throw can chime with multiple moods. The style clusters provide guidance, suggest — and inspire. ‘They invite you to look at the range from a different angle. To step out of your professional comfort zone. Who knows what you might discover?’
