HAPPY COLOURS
From the cabinet to the wall, and from the wall to the cabinet.
High plinths cause legs to disappear. Organic shapes go any which way, mixing geometric bodies into a lively composition. When dark clouds threaten outside, we bring radiant colours into the home. A cumulus cloud represents a peaceful, sunny mood.
Plinths complete a room. They are conspicuous by their absence. They determine the mood of an interior and the style of the furniture. Low plinths against the wall; high legs beneath the sofa and the cabinets. And vice-versa: high plinths against the wall; closed plinths beneath the sofa and for the cabinets. For both plinth heights, LivingFurn offers a complementary cabinet collection in oak veneer. The minimalist design begins and ends with a rounded side. Novero stands atop a plinth, Tobago on legs. An additional difference is the position of the top: with Novero it fits snugly so is ‘seamless’; with Tobago it is elevated so is ‘floating’. The legs and the top lend Tobago a light and airy character. Here a cumulus cloud also appears: materialised in the cloud-shaped coffee table. Now for the oak news: stylised organic shapes in calm, neutral colours (natural, espresso).
And then – the colourful twist! The Brix side tables, seven in total. The similarity between the models: variations on round, with bulb-shaped spatial figures. This might be a cylinder atop a sphere, or a truncated cone, or a cluster of cylinders. The tops often have rounded edges. Fashioned from steel, with a high-gloss coating in rather trendy colours such as mustard, amber, rust, maroon and vintage pink. All are made to raise the interior game: they fit everywhere and always come in handy.
