FUTURE-PROOF GAME-CHANGING

A single component is turning the (furniture) world on its head.

Neonest® simplifies (re)styling, (re-)designing, refurbishing – and recycling into a new Neonest® – endlessly. The enormity of its impact is incalculable. We are standing on the brink of an endlessly circular future. Goodbye virgin materials, hello post-consumer waste.

The story behind Neonest® starts with the circular mindset of the Revor Group. Truly, without exaggeration, the driving force behind a better, circular (bedding) world. Already crowned twice in Brussels with the Balthazar Innovation Award: in 2021 for the Circular® mattress concept, and this year for the Neonest module. A 100% circular low-tech solution for the bedding and sofa industry, the indoor and outdoor sectors.

CEO Jan Maes came up with the idea, and the agency Superellipse turned his sketches into a concrete end product. After two years of R&D, it is ready for unveiling. Neonest® is a next-level framework: a modular base structure for beds and sofas, made entirely from 100% recycled polypyrene. In other words, a mono-material, recycled and infinitely recyclable; clean; moisture, mould and pest-resistant; waterproof; stable and lightweight. The framework consists of a grid structure with the necessary montage interfaces for the legs, the headboard and the universal connector. The Neonest® works with the plug-in KD system, so no tools are required.

You can click together multiple Neonest® bases laterally, lengthwise, in an L or U-shape. (An extra support leg is provided.) The headboard can be clicked and slid into a metal support profile, attaching to the frame. The upholstery is done with loose covers, finished with a piping cord. (A recyclable thermoplastic elastomer.) You can slide this flexible cord into the hidden groove on the underside of the frame. It grips itself firmly in place. The fabric is in position, ready. No glue or staples are involved.

Disassembled/dismantled, the Neonest® is easily stackable (just 8 cm high).

Take a moment to consider the constructive impact of the USPs. Lightweight and stackable equals greater efficiency for logistics, delivery services — and for the outfitting of cruise ships. (Less weight means lower fuel consumption.) Clean and hypoallergenic equals improved sleeping comfort and climate in both home and hospitality settings. The list goes on…

The Neonest® is set on legs for its bedding application (available in 14 different sizes), but it can be deployed in numerous ways. Think sofas, outdoor, an electrically adjustable version. Neonest® is a never-ending work in progress – for a sustainable future.
