Le Sommeil Français: French pride

Le Sommeil Français may be a new name in the bedding sector, but it is already a major player and market leader in French bedding production.

The Le Sommeil Français umbrella includes brands such as Technilat and Synchroflex, which have been benchmarks for quality in the sleep industry since 1984. Biotex is France’s number one brand for contoured pillows, while more recently, Le Sommeil Français has also become known as Technilat’s premium brand. Le Sommeil Français and the other brands mentioned above are part of the Finadorm Group, founded in 1984 by Jean-Rémy Bergounhe, an entrepreneur from the Aveyron region. Today, the group is a leading innovator in the furniture and timber construction industries, both in France and far beyond.

The collections range from the mid- to high-end segment: mattresses and bed bases combining advanced technology and design, memory foam pillows, as well as textile products designed to give customers the comfort and tranquillity they need in the bedroom. Moreover: all products are made in France. Technilat, Synchroflex and Le Sommeil Français are produced in Rodez in the Aveyron, while Biotex is produced in Toulouse, in the Haute-Garonne. From there, the products make their way to more than 600 distributors across Europe, from bedding specialists to professionals in the hotel industry.
