Imageland offers surprises for the wall

In a design landscape that is becoming more and more eclectic with a combination of colours and textures,

there is an increasing focus on walls and partitions. Nobody knows this better than Imageland. The family firm from Herzogenrath, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, boasts more than 40 years’ experience in the production and distribution of contemporary artworks that lend extra cachet to interior projects. If you glance at the website, you’ll notice that this company has multiple advantages. Every style and every colour palette is featured. Avant-garde and abstract or strikingly photographic? The collection is extensive and available in a variety of dimensions.

Since their introduction in early January, a big hit this year have been the artworks featuring alpacas and highland cattle, with or without sunglasses or draped with faux fur. This means that you can both look and touch. Quite literally. The secret lies in the execution: the textured fur lends the animals a three-dimensional, almost tangible appearance. The result is both lively and amusing, for example when an alpaca with a bright red mane and aviator shades sassily surveys its surroundings. Imageland’s paintings are suitable for both private homes and the hospitality sector, where they’re sure to serve as eye-catchers, or even conversation starters.

At the Brussels Furniture Fair, Imageland can be found in Hall 8
