Modulax: made with passion
For Hans Vandendriessche and his team, comfort is more than just an empty word.
For years, under the brand name Modulax, he has been producing recliners, tables, sofas and other pieces of which carefree relaxation is a central tenet. Anyone who knows Hans knows how passionately he can expound on new technologies, a table leg, or an electrically powered base. The new models are often developed in China, home to and workplace of his son Bram, who helps shape all new products as Modulax’s Head of Design.
Potential bestsellers will once again be on display at this year’s Brussels Furniture Fair. We’ll highlight two of these: Jona and Atlas. Jona is a manual recliner with a swivel base and footstool. The look is elegant, the star-shaped base comes in black metal, and the footstool is delivered separately. Thanks to the 330° swivel function and the further reclining backrest, the lounging position feels exceptionally comfortable and ergonomic. The manually adjustable headrest offers extra support for optimal seating comfort. Jona is available in a wide range of fabrics, leather types and colours. Atlas is an electric recliner with three motors, a manually adjustable headrest, and an integrated battery for cordless use. The backrest and footrest can be adjusted separately for optimal comfort. The wooden side panels are available in black or walnut veneer. Atlas comes in small, medium and large versions, with, as always, a wide range of fabrics, leather types and colours.
At the Brussels Furniture Fair, Modulax can be found in Hall 5.
