Premieres

A single group stand, three high-end labels and multiple premieres.

A French mattress concept that eliminates chemical components. An English bed-maker that’s going all out for electric. An American brand that’s blowing with the wind, and Black Beauty presented in white for the first time. Every firm within the Adova group will be telling their own story in Brussels.

Tréca is all about the Néo project: a milestone in the firm’s history. From now on, there will be no chemical glues and foams used in the Paris Collection. The mattresses are hand-made using traditional methods and environmentally friendly materials. Talalay latex, mohair, cashmere, silk and wool are the favourites for the so-called welcome layers. The wire and strip steel are fashioned from 90% recycled metal. Poly foams have been replaced by natural Talalay latex. The ticking uses viscose. The biggest challenge? How do you solve the glued layers? The sustainable alternative is old-fashioned craftsmanship: the mattress core is entirely hand-tufted with hidden knots. The Néo project wants to further reduce the ecological footprint. Since time immemorial, Tréca has stood for ‘luxe et héritage d’origine française’. ‘Act local’ is part of the company’s DNA. Materials such as wool come from France, the craftspeople from the region, and the pocket springs are manufactured in-house. Where else is this still the case? The haut de gamme Paris Collection (two mattresses) sets the tone for the firm’s ambitious sustainability process.

Sleepeezee has breaking news: the introduction of the very first electrically adjustable box springs in the range. Especially developed for the European market, as there is scant demand for this in the UK. Brussels will be the stage for this premiere.

Simmons will once again be highlighting its ‘smart box’ concept. This can be divided into North-South or East-West. Or into lengthwise or widthwise bed halves respectively.

Finally, the label Beautyrest by Simmons will be presenting the Black Central Park bed in white for the first time in Brussels. A significant difference. Will you choose a stylish or minimalist hotel vibe?
