ABOUT ROOTS & ROUTING

The holiday period is behind us, so it’s time to get back to furniture business.

In just two months from now, business travel will be focused on Brussels. This is where the classic among trade fairs will be taking place. For four days, the Furniture Fair will once again be the place to be — whether you’re an exhibitor or a visitor. Once you’ve reached your destination, there is an (adapted) route mapped out for you, taking in the established, new and returning ‘addresses’. Brussel will continue to surprise you.

The Brussels Furniture Fair has entered its final sprint. Every week, new exhibitors are signing up — from the Benelux region and beyond. And they are not just anyone! Gusj (B), Kristensen & Kristensen (DK), Feel Design (SE), DivaDivani (I), Essenza Sofa (I), Dorelan (I), Harisson Spinks (UK), Schramm Betten (D), Le Sommeil Français (F), Comforteo (PL), Benix (PL), Puszman (PL), Davis Fabrics (PL) and Lech Fabrics (PL).

So what’s the most striking thing? Among the newcomers are a host of returners: back after (many) years of absence. Rêve by Grégoir, Belgian Bedding, Sympa, LS Bedding from Belgium; Bree’s New World, Bert Plantagie, Frans Bijnen, DTP Interiors from the Netherlands; Polipol (D), and Jakobsen Home (DK). You might be tempted to describe this as a ‘back to the roots’ comeback.

This selection already gives you a good idea of what the 2025 Furniture Fair has in store. You can see the support widening — in terms of both countries and segments. You can see Brussels by Night getting a boost. You can see the arrival of furniture fabric suppliers. Of course, Brussels’ true roots lie with its regular exhibitors from Belgium and abroad: the well-known stand addresses.

When you visit the fair, you can rely on the familiar layout: the City, Fusion, Mozaïek, Brussels by Night segments and — since last year — the Outdoor Living platform. Hall 5 looks a little different: this year it plays host to the Belgian Design Island, and the Brussels Balthazar Awards ceremony will be staged here. A not-to-be-missed event.

Good preparation is half the battle. Through the BLOG, you can get the low-down on the fair news. On the website, you’ll find the current list of exhibitors. Through the App, you’ll soon be able to map out your route taking in the hotspots and top stops.

So make a note in your diary: 2 – 5 November Visit Brussels Furniture Fair.
