Novomera may be a new name, but there’s an experienced player involved.
After all, who isn’t familiar with brands such as Laura Ashley, Heal’s and John Lewis? Novomera is backed by a factory that has been manufacturing furniture for these labels for over 20 years, while also working with leading German and Scandinavian retailers. The same company already operates under the name Qualita in the United Kingdom and as Fornestas in Germany and Sweden.
For the Benelux market, the name Novomera has been chosen. The brand is now set to make its debut at the Brussels Furniture Fair. What does Novomera stand for? Bespoke tables and benches, with more than 12,000 configurations in solid oak, ash or black American walnut. Customers choose the type of wood, dimensions and finish. All designs are produced at the factory in Kaunas, Lithuania’s second-largest city, where some 200 skilled craftspeople are employed. Through partner factories, Novomera also offers chairs and cabinets, making it possible to create coordinated furniture sets. Dirk Hellinckx and Veerle Vercauteren of Top Class Furniture represent the brand in the Benelux region.
