NO DOUBT: SOLID WOOD

Theuns is once again playing to its strengths:

furniture in solid oak. This time, the milling machine takes the pivotal role in the design. Without it, it would be impossible to achieve such a rhythmic pattern of narrow and wide ridges on the fronts. Or such a recessed leg in the base.

Why not put your best foot forward? Show that what you’re capable of and what you’re doing these days is truly special? That a look is not the same as craftsmanship? Decorative ridged profiles are definitely the latest design trend, but are these pressed or milled? Therein lies the difference. With Linio, Theuns quite simply lets that difference speak for itself. The core qualities are highlighted: the milled ribbed profiles underscore the 100% solid wood. The — near seamless — recessed legs in the plinth emphasise the craftsmanship. Indeed, not everyone can or does achieve this (any more).

The design is an alchemy of on-trend styles, of organic and Japandi. All the curves of and on the cabinets follow the same radius: the rounded corners, edges, ledges, ridges, and grooves. The asymmetric duo of a narrow and wide ridge repeats itself endlessly over the fronts. This alternating wave movement has a more playful and natural effect than a monotone ribbed profile. It looks decorative, without feeling too busy.
Linio consists of a cabinet range and a modular table concept. You choose from tabletop shapes, dimensions, edge finishes, legs and colours. Linio goes further than dining tables; there are also stools, occasional and coffee tables.

Exactly as you would expect from Theuns: Linio is meticulously finished and crafted.
